WHO IS HELLO NURSE?
|
Benita Martin is the proud owner and Director of Hello Nurse.
She is an AHPRA Registered Division 1 Nurse, with over 18 years of clinical skill and experience, including postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Nursing Care (Paediatrics) and Continence Care and Management. Benita also has experience working with NDIS providers, managing participants with high intensity support requirements. Benita also has a Diploma of Quality Auditing, which she has put to use as an Approved Quality Auditor in the NDIS space, assessing providers against the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators. This experience gives Benita a unique perspective on providing quality services to participants, while complying with NDIS regulations. Benita loves working with people, creating connections and working with people on an individual level. She has a special affinity for working with children, and with people living with disability. Understanding the individual path people may travel with their healthcare and continence is a priority for Benita, and working together to navigate that windy road is a challenge she relishes. Benita lives in the bush near Ballarat, in a full and happy house, with four rapidly growing children, a tall husband, a slightly anxious mini poodle, five super-egg-laying chickens, three squeaking guinea pigs, a cat who rarely purrs, a shiny blue-tongue lizard and a lovely white horse. Benita has a million hobbies she doesn’t have enough time for, including reading, crocheting, macrame, horse riding, rollerblading and playing netball. |
